La Presa Fever

Tourists (Titanium Corporation for their Baguio-Benguet Tour) quietly waiting for the sunrise and having a view of Baguio City, Philippines at the View Deck (behind the not functioning RADAR - radio detection and ranging) of Mount Cabuyao, Santo Tomas, Tuba Benguet

Visited the PAGASA Weather station for a view of the China Sea and of course the weather station itself, where a not functioning Weather Surveillance Radar is. The tourists were allowed to climb the Radar for picture taking.

On the way back to the La Presa area - we encountered heavy foot traffic, also vehicular traffic congenstion --- due to the La Presa fever

congested road

The once upon a time serene and quiet community now abounds with mini grocery stores, coffee vending machines, souvenir shops just like any of the tour spots in Baguio and La Trinidad.

Vehicles are filling up the side of the road as early as 7am and more are coming as we are leaving after 8am. Cars, vans, taxis. We seem to be the only ones who rode 3 jeepneys:-)

Siksikan blues -whew. People had to walk tired of waiting for the vehicle to move.
